Decentralized Compute Architecture

The Pii Server-in-a-Box is a self-contained micro data center designed for indoor and outdoor environments. It consolidates high-density IT hardware, thermal management, and configurable power routing into a standardized 1200 x 1400 x 2300 mm footprint, delivering 34 RU of available space directly to the point of data generation.

Application & Edge Inferencing

GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS)

Provides the physical hardware foundation necessary to host power-intensive GPU infrastructure. Locating compute resources geographically closer to local users supports direct edge inferencing and strict latency reduction.

Telecommunications Expansion

Allows telecommunications providers and enterprise networks to rapidly scale compute capacity at existing telecom sites. Operates independently of centralized hyperscale facilities, circumventing the need for legacy grid overhauls.

Rapid Distributed Deployment

Engineered as an all-in-one edge node, this turnkey solution enables accelerated deployment speeds at any remote or localized site with available access to power.

System Architecture

Select the sections below to explore the engineering advantages of the integrated Server-in-a-Box layout.

High-Density Compute+
Supports up to 13 kW of continuous IT capacity and provides 34 RU of available space within a standard 19" EIA rack, delivering the ideal physical foundation for power-intensive GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) deployments.
Ruggedized Enclosure+
Built for demanding outdoor applications with an IP55 / NEMA 3S protection rating and a compact 1200 x 1400 x 2300 mm physical footprint.
Integrated DX Thermal Management+
Utilizes two enclosure-mounted Direct Expansion (DX) units, delivering a combined 20,400 W of cooling and 6,000 W of heating to maintain proper internal temperatures in ambient/external temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +55 °C.
Universal Input Compatibility+
Integrates Tower of Power™ capabilities to accept broad AC inputs (240 Vac single or 3-phase, 208Y/120 Vac, 415Y/240 Vac, or 480Y/277 Vac), as well as -48 Vdc and 200–440 Vdc variable inputs.
Security & Environmental Monitoring+
Equipped with standard mechanical locks and built-in temperature sensors, with optional upgrades for electronic cabinet access, door contacts, and smoke & fire detection systems.
