Whether you need access to our skilled technicians over the phone, on-site support, or routine preventative maintenance programs, we’ve got a plan to fit your needs. Choose from our Basic, Basic Plus and Premium packages based upon the criticality of your equipment.

The Power Innovations Service Desk is staffed with knowledgeable resources to help you troubleshoot problems remotely. Depending on your plan, support is available during standard business hours 8:00AM to 5:00PM MST.

DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT

In some cases, customers request custom documentation to complete services, such as detailed step-by-step repair instructions. Power Innovations will provide up to four hours of documentation support per support ticket. Any additional hours will be billed.

PARTS & ON-SITE SERVICE

The Power Innovations Service Desk works with customers over the phone to help identify any faulty parts or other operational issues. When additional support or parts are needed:

  • Power Innovations will provide the replacement parts as available and at a discount, depending on the level of Service Plan. Expedited Parts Exchange is available via our Premium plan.
  • For customers without a Certified Technician on site to complete the repair, a Power Innovations technician can travel to the site on a first-available basis.
  • Any On-Site Services (as well as travel time) are discounted as per each plan. Shipping costs, travel, & all other expenses are billed at actual costs.

EXPEDITED PARTS EXCHANGE

SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATES

During our Preventative Maintenance visits, Power Innovations checks for any software updates to remote software, such as Q-LS net agents or any other installed IoT (Internet of Things) monitoring devices, as well as local software, such as touch screens. Any required updates are installed and tested.

ON-SITE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Unplanned downtime in your facility can be minimized with a well-designed maintenance strategy. Power Innovations can help you identify and resolve problems before they can cause damage while also improving your system’s performance and reliability.

On-Site Preventative Maintenance service includes visits every six months. Visits must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance and performed Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Each visit includes the following:

  • Inspection of electronic components
  • Thermal analysis for bad connections and repair, if needed
  • Verification that the system is operating within specification
  • Calibration of system
  • Testing of each battery to determine residual life
  • Cleaning the system and air filters

Customers receive up to a 25% discount on any required replacement parts and travel time. Shipping costs, travel expenses, & any other expenses are billed at actual costs.

REMOTE MONITORING

From simple alarm notification to proactive diagnostics, our services help you identify failures faster, provide root cause analysis, and execute your escalation strategy.

Utilizing IP identification and web access, Power Innovations offers remote monitoring and management of any UPQ system. Once a power event occurs, the system sends out predefined TRAP notifications. If a UPQ system requires service, the system automatically opens a help desk ticket and notifies a Power Innovations Technical Support Representative.

BATTERY MONITORING & REPLACEMENT

Batteries are a leading root cause of UPS failures. Every time your battery charges and discharges, it shortens the available life span. Batteries 3 years or older are at significant risk of a battery-related incident. During the Preventative Maintenance visits, PI conducts battery life tests. If batteries are found to be deteriorated, PI will replace the batteries. The cost for the batteries will be at the discounted plan rate.

EMERGENCY ON-SITE SERVICE

Power Innovations provides Emergency On-Site Service for critical situations. If a problem cannot be resolved remotely or with your Power Innovations certified in-house technicians, Power Innovations will make all reasonable accommodations to dispatch one of our technicians to your location as soon as possible. This expedited service is available only to our Premium Plan customers at 25% off regular labor rates. Shipping costs, travel costs, & expenses are billed at actual costs.
